Fresh 48 sessions are a unique opportunity to capture your new baby’s first few hours of life. This session is for hospital settings only. Photographed in the first 24-48 hours after birth, Fresh 48 sessions capture the authentic, raw, magical moments where you’re just getting to know your little one, from their first yawns, feeds and diaper changes to their tiniest features.
Whether you want to freeze in time baby’s first meeting with siblings or grandparents, or simply want to document the quiet, slow moments of mother and baby, a Fresh 48 session is a beautiful way to look back on the moments that took your breath away as a new parent before they’re lost in the busyness of having a new baby.

About Birth or Fresh 48
LET'S WORK TOGETHERHow Far in Advanced Should I Book?It is recommended to book your Birth/Fresh48 in your second trimester. However, it is never to late to inquire!
Do I need to bring baby outfits for Fresh 48?If you have something specific you would like baby to wear, of course! If not, I will bring simple wraps (and bows for girls).
What if You are with Me Over 4 hours for Birth?We cannot plan the minute baby will arrive. Because of this, there is no extra charge for my time if baby takes their time arriving.
How long until I receive my photos?The full gallery will be delivered within 3-4 weeks or before. However, a sneak peek will be provided within 24 hours.
Do we Discuss what I am Comfortable with You Capturing?Yes! In our pre-birth consultation, we will discuss your birth plan as well as the ideal angles/moments you want frozen in time. Your consent to what I capture is my number one priority.
